Specialists in Complex, High-Risk Installs

Some installs carry more risk than a ladder and a drill: signs at height, heavy faces on structures, lifts over traffic or work beside live operations. SSVI plans these jobs in detail before anyone is on site, so the risk is managed on paper first.

Our crews are ticketed for the work they do, every job has a site-specific SWMS, and the access equipment is matched to the height, load and ground conditions.

High-Risk Work We Handle

  • Boom lifts, scissor lifts and EWPs – work at height on buildings, canopies and structures
  • Crane works – lifting faces, pylons and structures into place
  • Rope access – where EWPs and cranes cannot reach
  • Excavation and concreting – footings for pylons and structures
  • Sky signs and building-top signage
  • Billboards – skins, faces and structure works
  • Traffic control – arranged through accredited providers for road and footpath works

How a High-Risk Install Runs

  1. Site assessment – access, ground conditions, overhead hazards and loads.
  2. Planning and approvals – lift plans, permits, traffic management and SWMS.
  3. Equipment and crew – access equipment and ticketed crew matched to the job.
  4. Install – supervised on site, with exclusion zones in place.
  5. Photo proof and close-out – before and after photos and a completion report.
